2nd Childhood Productions, LLC was born out of an idea, a passion, and a need. Chad Newsome and Tanya O’Quinn both are storytellers; Tanya is a creative writer and Chad is a filmmaker. Together they created a production company whose sole intention is to deliver entertaining, inspiring, enlightening and moving stories. Their mutual influences are originality, creativity, and imagination. They are Business Partners; they are Creative Partners; they are Soulmates, they are 2ndChildhood Productions, LLC.
TANYA O’QUINN (Writer/Director/Producer)
Tanya O’Quinn is a gifted writer whose imagination knows no bounds. No formal education; no books read; just a strong desire to tell stories. She writes ‘what she sees’ and has recently discovered her passion for directing those ‘visions’. Tanya made her ‘directorial debut’ in The Cough (A Covid-19 Comedy) and went on to do the same as Writer/Director in Browsing History, The Drug Deal (A Covid-19 Comedy), The Store (A Covid-19 Comedy) and Keepsake (a supernatural drama about the concept of ‘karma’). Since her writing career began, she’s written over ten full-length features and twelve short films. Additionally, she’s created varying and numerous concept ideas for several television and Internet series.
CHAD NEWSOME (Producer/Cinematographer/Editor)
Chad Newsome is an Indie Filmmaker with a passion for Cinematography. He wrote, directed, and edited his first short film, The Post, after witnessing widespread political division on social media during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. Self-taught and self-motivated, he has invested a great amount of time, money, and energy into his unyielding passion for storytelling. Chad aims to experience growth and success via making films of substance, those that not only entertain, but also enlighten, motivate and empower. His credits include: Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor for The Cough (A Covid-19 Comedy), Browsing History, The Store (A Covid-19 Comedy), and Keepsake; and serving as Producer and Editor of The Drug Deal (A Covid-19 Comedy).

GRACE EKMEKJIAN
(Producer/Asst. Director)
Grace Ekmekjian is a Filmmaker whose early filmmaking experience include a documentary filmed in her country of Lebanon. She is a Graduate of the New York Film Academy with a Masters of Fine Arts. Grace loves ‘storytelling’ just as much as she loves ‘perspectives’. Her professional experience ranges from short films to features to documentaries. She’s also played the roles of Producer or Asst. Director on/for other projects, including the supernatural drama Keepsake.
